No problems

I bought this fridge because we changed our kitchen appliances over to stainless steel. We got the Amana because the old fridge was Amana and still worked perfectly after 18 years. I replaced the covered shelves in the door with regular open shelves because we keep all of our condiments in the door and this way they fit better. I like the looks of the fridge with the stainless steel handle going all the way top to bottom. Also, the front is inter-changeable with panels to match your cabinets, so someday if I get new cupboards I can make the fridge match. I like the ice in the door, and was really excited about the crushed ice, but it crushes very slowly and so we usually just use the regular ice. It took a while to get the temperature adjusted so that items would not freeze on the top shelf, but finally we got it right. There are knobs inside that adjust how much cold air comes over from the freezer, and so where that air comes in items can freeze.
