ELVIS SANG IT BETTER!

My music tastes are all over the board. Rock and Roll, Hard Rock, Alternative, Classical and Opera. I grew up listening to Elvis rock and roll thanks to my folks so I already enjoyed his music, and when I wanted gospel music I knew exactly where to turn. I can remember hearing his version of How Great Thou Art when I was younger and could still recall the goose bumps it created.

His renditions of these classic gospel songs are so moving that whenever I hear someone else sing these same songs, my first reply is always "Elvis sang it better!!!"

Not only are the songs great but there are a few tracks that you get to hear him talking to the guys in the band (J.D. Sumner). The reaction you hear from the audience is catching. Moving doesn't even begin to describe the sound of his voice, he doesn't even need musical instruments to accompany him, his voice alone would be enough. Having him sing these particular songs the listener can't help but marvel at the truly great gift his voice was.
