Dr. Dolittle in Many Ways

Date of Review:  Nov 28, 2002
The Bottom Line: It's pointless in the best possible way, and will stay in your Gamecube for many months. At least, before you get Zelda and Metroid Prime.
Review: So, you've decided to run off and live with the animals. It sounds like pure insanity, and it's the plot of Nintendo's new game.

Animal Crossing is Nintendo's new "communication" game for the Gamecube, has absolutley NO point to it. And I...

Great for kids. Boring after awhile for adults.

Date of Review:  Sep 25, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this for kids rather than adults.
Review: This game is pretty fun... for awhile. If you're a SIMS fan like me, you'll like it. Basically, you are the only human character in a town full of animals. Every town is different. You buy a house, but you don't have all the money for it, so you...

Plenty of addictive fun ...at least for a little while

Date of Review:  Jan 6, 2003
The Bottom Line: An excellent game worth trying. Plenty of fun. But be sure to rent first! It's not for everyone.
Review: Animal Crossing is the latest simulation game from everyones favorite, Nintendo. Sort of a mix between Harvest Moon and the Sims but with a twist. All the inhabitants of this world are animals as it's name states. The game is frighteningly addictive...

Animal Crossing: Fun For All!

Date of Review:  Mar 3, 2003
The Bottom Line: Overall, this is an excellent game that should appeal to a wide audience. I've only begun to scratch the surface of what you can do in this game.
Review: At first glance, Animal Crossing appears to be a very simplistic and somewhat "cheesy" game. (In fact, it took a lot of prodding on my part to get my husband to try it out!) However, once you start playing, you won't be able to stop!

The...

A must have for any role-playing fan!

Date of Review:  Jan 25, 2004
Review: When I got the game, I couldn't put it down for weeks! It is so much fun! If oyu liked the sims, you'll like this! they are very different, but a lot alike. you go around talking with the neighbors, running errands, fishing, catching bugs, and...

Create your own town. Create your own character. Live in the Animal Crossing world.

Date of Review:  May 24, 2003
The Bottom Line: Build your life and have fun with your own town and its inhabitants.
Review: Overview

This game doesn't run on it's own time. Events happen in real time using the Nintendo Gamecube clock as a guide. In the Animal Crossing world you are not just playing, you are living your characters life.

Encourages continued game play despite the fact there is no real "Goal"

Date of Review:  Jun 10, 2005
Review: Completely addictive game. My boyfriend and I play it together (even though we may be too old to play this game) and we both have a great time goofing off, writing letters to the other characters. It's great that there are special "events" that...

Animal Crossing = My Happy Place

Date of Review:  Jun 16, 2004
Review: I LOVE THIS GAME. This is my favorite game for the gamecube so far - it's so innocently addictive!!!! Although if you play it every day (like I do) then it gets old, you don't have that much to do each day. The graphics are mediocre, and the sounds...

A HUGE game in a cute lil' package.

Date of Review:  Jul 23, 2003
The Bottom Line: Overall animal crossing is a great game for gamers of all ages and I think that anyone can enjoy this game if they give it a try.
Review: Don't look down at animal crossing just because it has kiddy little junky graphics. Look beyond the graphics and at the gameplay it has to offer. Animal Crossing allows you to live a new life in a town that you get to name. The town is also randomly...

Animal Crossing -Routine

Date of Review:  Aug 27, 2003
The Bottom Line: Good for kids 5-6, boring for adults and alot of reading so not for young kids.
Review: The game was okay for those that like doing the same thing throughout the whole game without much thrill. It was good in that it was set on real time and you have to earn your money to buy things, that gives kids a sense of life in away. The...
