Great headphones, not as durable as I would like

I got these headphones for Christmas and I got to using them immediately. I plugged them in and the sound was awesome. There was a little too much bass (but thats a trait of sealed headphones), but that was fixed by adjusting the EQ on my player. A few weeks after first using them, the joint where the headphone attaches to the headpiece started to come apart. I held it together with electrical tape, but it still isn't supposed to happen to new headphones. I'm currently in the process of getting them replaced under warranty. I got these headphones because I wanted a portable set that still had good sound quality, and I found all those traits in these. Besides the fact that the headpiece broke, they have nothing but the best quality with everything else.
