This is the must revolutionary computer product ever! What's better than a computer and a monitor all in one package. On top of that add that Apple designed it. On top of that add one year of technical support if you have any questions. You ought to call them just to see how smart and professional they really are. You not getting shipped off to India speaking to people you can't understand. I recommend buying the Apple Care extended warranty. It think it moves your warranty to 4 years. I bought one for my laptop and my hard drive went bad on me and they replaced it for free. I actually bought that computer off somebody from ebay and they were able to transfer the apple care warranty for me and they fixed it without any hassle.
Back it the imac...if you've never even touched one of these things you need to head straight to an Apple store and play around with one. Even better get one of the sales guys to demonstrate one for you. That's what I did and the coolness of what the computer could do totally blew me away!!
All the icons you can possibly need are sitting on the bottom of the screen and if it isn't there you can drag it there and if one is there you don't like you can remove it. You can also have the icon enlarged as you drag the cursor over it if you like or can have them shrunk down so small you can barely see them or you can have them incredibly large if you've got bad vision or you can get rid of them altogether.
You can also rip and burn cd's and dvd's with this computer. It comes with itunes and iphoto which are both incredible.
One cool thing I learned is that if you want to print something you can hit the apple key plus the letter p and it will bring up a choice to print. You can then save whatever it is to a pdf file and save it to your computer. Very convenient if you need to keep financial docs at the ready.
I love this company so much I probably drive people I know nuts! I see people using PC's and actually feel sorry for them. If you get a chance I'd buy a few shares of that stock too. The ticker code is AAPL and it will be the Microsoft of the future....I wouldn't be surprised to see Microsoft go the way of the Edsel 20 years from now.
The computer even comes with a built in wireless network card so you can network your computers wirelessly. Buy the imac if you can!
