Apple Macbook Pro-like driving the best sports car on the block!

I waited and waited to make the final decision to cross over...and SO glad I did. I considered myself a fairly advanced Windows user, so I was hard to impress. One day, while in an Office Depot store, I decided to ask the "geeks" their advice. I said, "If you could afford any computer on the planet, what would you get?" This being said, I can't exactly afford any computer on the planet but it's the best way to get an opinion, I think! I was looking at several laptops from 2-3 different makers and mentioned that Apple was one of them. Office Depot, of course, doesn't sell Apple computers! In hushed voices, all the guys said, "Get a Mac!" I don't know if these guys work on commission or not, but the advice was right on. I drove the 3 hrs northward and bought my Macbook Pro...HD widescreen. I do photo editing and the screen is to die for. It has completely replaced my old desktop. The learning curve is almost nonexistent. Apple says their computers are intuitive and they truly are. The only "hint" I had was that the "CTRL-click" replaces the Window's "right click". There are a few other things that perplexed me, but with only a little "clicking around" I found the solutions fairly easily. The Apple Support on the website can answer just about any question you have...so my advice? Get a Mac. No virus protection required. Open and use!
