Lovin it way too much!
Pros:
OSX rocks, especually when it's on a laptop.
Cons:
512mb of ram defeats the purpose of dual core processing.
The Bottom Line:
Please! Do yourself a favor and get the better valued 2gz model that has 1gb ram preinstalled, 20 more gig HD, and faster disc drive.

First of all let me say that PC laptops suck. I mean it, i'll tell you that when people say Mac OSX is better than XP, you better not get arrogent on them because you need to use OSX for a week to experience what they love. No fancy 0x00000d1 crap in blue screens, no viruses, no spy/mal/adware, just computing the way it was meant to be; user-friendly.
Now onto the review.
I have the 512mb version and i'm loving everything about it except the fact that its 512mb's of ram short of being 1gb. 1gb is what it should be to get out the full potential of that dual core cpu, 512mb just doesn't cut it because using using microsoft word while having a browser on with itunes running will eat up all 512mb's. You can't multitask cause the cpu has no ram or should i say no room to work with:) So do yourself a favor and go one step up and get the 2ghz model that comes with 1gb, 20 more gb of HD space, and a faster disc drive.
Other than that, as a person who uses a PC for a desktop i'll say that i'm extremely impressed with OSX, as a matter of fact I wasn't expecting OSX to be this good when i bought it, i said "no viruses, no spyware? Cool, how much does one cost", man was i in for a treat. This thing has blown me away with all the extra applications its got, had the thing for a little over a month now and I already have figured how to use OSX, unlike windows which usually takes months or a college level course to understand the OS.
Now i'm not dissing PC's, i'm just dissing their OS and laptops cause if your going for a laptop then apple's the only way to go, if its a desktop then like in my case a PC is best; high performance at a low price. Now of course there are cases where you can buy a cheaper PC laptop thats faster than a $1000 macbook but here's the thing; speed isn't as critical on laptops as it is on desktops, thats why i prefer a PC desktop. For laptops i consider the user-friendly factor to be a huge one, you gotta use OSX for a week to see what i mean.
This laptop has everything i could ask for, well...Maybe that feature we see on PC laptops where you can watch a dvd without booting up the whole system, now that would just make things better.
