Is it that great?

I really enjoy getting Astronomy Magazine every month. It is full of informative articles and my collection of issues has proven useful as a resource on several papers. Despite all these good points I feel that this publication has a great deal of advertisements. If you are in the market for a telescope or a telescope accessory, this would be a good magazine to check out.

The best things about Astronomy Magazine are the articles on scientists. They have featured Carl Sagan, Stephen Hawking and many other. The articles are always informative and articulate.

An alternative to the magazine is <www.space.com>. It's a good site with a lot of available information. Scientific American is also a good magazine if you are interested science.
