Author's Review

We bought this grinder about a year ago as it's got good power, good coffee capacity and it's real easy to clean with the dishwasher safe, removable, stainless steel bowl.

We have not had any problems with the grind it produces for our drip coffee maker. If you need espresso grind, you should get a burr grinder anyway.

We also use it for grinding spices and it does a fine job with these as well.

When we run our normal batch of 12 Tbsp of beans - they're acceptably ground to a sufficiently uniform grind.

We do have some packing of grounds between the blade and bottom of the bowl, but we keep a small brush nearby dedicated to the purpose of cleaning our grinder which eliminates any problems. We've used this brush for all our previous blade grinders as none of them get really clean otherwise.

We really like the 100% stainless steel bowl as it lets us clean the unit sufficiently so none of the coffee flavor carries over when we are grinding spices and vice versa.

We live in a dry climate, but we've had none of the static electricity problems others have reported.

We also have not experienced any uneven grinding after close to a year of daily use.

Overall a very good blade grinder at a pretty reasonable price
