BIC Pro+ 1.0 Medium Black

This is a slick-looking writing pen. Has a shiny firm click that springs back. It glides as smooth as the classic Cristals, Round Stics, etc. (not Easy Glides 1.2)

I'm not sure if the newer Pro+'s share the rounded 1.0 tip of the BIC Velocity and Atlantis retractable, but my 2-pack came with the pointier, classic BIC medium tip. When it comes to smooth writing, the Velocity/Atlantis have a slight advantage. The ink flow is about the same, though.

The rubber grip is contoured, which makes the wide pen barrel a bit too bloated. I think it'd be more comfortable with a conventional grip. There's also a little bump near the barrel tip that usually gets in the way; other times, it comes in handy. The pen clip looks great and is pretty sturdy.

This would be a HOT pen if BIC shaved a few millimeters off the barrel diameter and used a grip that didn't alter the profile.

BTW, the silver metallic BIC Pro+ logo is killer! :D
