Instead of staples, this time around, you go to staples.com. What's this? a retractable pen with a white barrel that writes in black. It looks cheap, but all the same, your curiosity perks, so the first place to look is natrually EPINIIONS.COM On a side note, it also comes in blue and red, and green in europe and south america.
MY EXPERIENCES
I have never really purchased any of these pen. I have had a total of four bic Clic Stic pens. Also, I have no idea whatsoever why it was so hard to call it the ClicK sticK. How hard is it to write a freaking K!? Same goes for the Cristal stic pen. umm...? Anyway, three of my Clic Stics came from the supply room @ work. The other was found on the ground. These are not available at any of my local staples, office max/depot, costco, etc. If someone can tell me where to buy some, I'd be amazed. Anyway, these cheap online order pens have VERY good quality. They write more than 90% of the time. They are RETRACTABLE, which means a) you have no cap to lose and b) you can annoy everybody by clicking it repetively. On the side of the pen it says BiC Clic Stic med. USA. THis means it is a Bic Clic Stic pen with a medium point made in the USA. I dunno if the point is made in the USA too. The point is also 1.0mm, medium sized. The point is to get back on topic. Anyway, they also are very comfortable, despite the lack of a rubber grip.
The Good Guys
The pen lets out a clear black line. It also will never leak at all, which ellimitates any need for a pocket protector when I have a Clic Stic with me. The pen is compact, and has a very sturdy pocket clip, a pen chewer's best fried, until you get it stuck on the inside of your lip with the pen on the outside.
The Bad Boys
The pen is non-refillable, which means not environmentally friendly in my dictionary. This is something I am very big on. PLEASE, BiC, put some refills on the market!!! The only other complaint I have is that it is an online order only product.
I hope that now you will or won't buy the Clic Stic. The Softfeel is a Bic Clic Stic with the barrel covered with rubber. I reccomend it over the Clic stic if you have trouble writing.
