Shhhwwww....Thats me the Night Ride

Imagine you and your family (yes your family) snuggled safetly in the leather seats of you new BMW M5 as you conquer the twists and turns of Highway at night with your XENON lighting clearing the night away, traveling a speedy 90 mph at a low 2100 rpms. Imagine yourself pulling up to a stop light, with a lowered Acura Integra next to you revving his engine for a race. You look over with a small smirk, turn on your Harmon Kardon speakers system as you wait for the light. The light turns green. In a matter of 5.3 seconds, you car is crusing at 60 mph while the Acura is left in your dust. You do all this with a full load of groceries in your trunk, a baby seat in the passanger seat and a ski rack on top of your car.

The BMW M5 is the perfect sports family car. Never heard of that, well this is what the M5 is. A top of the line sports car for you family. With four seats, a large trunk space, large amounts of leg room, the M5 can churn out 400 HPs and with a top speed of 180 mph.

I purchased this car about 6 months ago and received only recently. I already am blown away with its comfort, its performance, its style, its driveablity. Everything that makes a car the best is what the BMW M5 emboides.

Engine
What makes the BMW M5 superior to other sports car is BMW's patented M Power: The sound of substance. The powerful M motor is the apex of an engineering masterpiece. The BMW has a whopping Eight cylinders, 5 litres of displacement, 400 hp (294 kW) of power and maximum rpm's of 7000/min build up phenomenally high torque and breathtaking acceleration: In fourth gear, the M5 accelerates from 80 to 120 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. At 3800/min, the torque is 500 Nm - the unquestionable formula for sheer, exhilarating power. Can you just imagine yourself behind so much power at the depression of a gas pedal. The M5 is only short of a nuclear warship on wheels if you know what I mean.

Construction
The basis of the outstanding handling of the M5 is the not only the power behind the engine but also the brilliantly-designed BMW 5 Series sedan. The torsional stiffness of the 5 Series body, its low unsprung mass, its responsive suspension: the
perfect base for a high-performance vehicle is incorporated into the M5. The M5's state-of-the-art brake system is engineered to match the car's excellent performance: the front disks measure an impressive 345 mm; the back 328 mm. The result: perfectly controlled power at all times.

Overall Opinion
Let me ask you all a question. Has there been something that you always wanted but never got becuase you couldnt wait long enough to buy it and settle for something less? I am sure you all have, whether it be a bike or a video game system. Well let me tell you that patience is a virtue. Take that in mind when you are buying a car and they tell you that you must wait 5 months before you will receive you M5 Instead of buying a 5 series, I tell you that you must wait. To buy this car is the most singular thing that you can due as an adult to break free from the reins of family and family cars, and fullfill your dream of buying a sports car without making the wife at home (or husband) to angry. I gurantee you all that this car is the opitimy of happiness and luxury. This car will take you into heaven and beyond...faster than and more comfortable than any other car out there.
