Best 3-series and best small car yet again

Date of Review:  Aug 3, 2005
The Bottom Line: Wow, this is an amazing deal for this level of performance--assuming you can keep your options list in check. This $30k performer can become a $40k shocker pretty quickly.
Review: Introduction
I went to the dealership and test drove the new 2006 BMW 3 series. I am not in the market for a new car and test driving cars is not something I do often. One word: Amazing.

Review
I test drove the 325. I don't see...

Resting on their laurels

Date of Review:  Mar 23, 2006
The Bottom Line: For the money, you can get more car from Acura, Lexus, or even mid-level contender Honda. This isn't really a "luxury" sedan anymore.
Review: I've been in love with BMW since I was handed my first license. At 35, this was the moment I'd waited for since I was 15. I test drove the BMW 325 and 330.

1. Ergonomics were below average. The "modern" design on the armrest for the driver...

The Real 4-Door Sports Car

Date of Review:  Aug 8, 2006
Review: I've owned my 2006 3 Series for a little over 3 months now and I can't believe how good this car is. INCREDIBLE! The car is fast, quiet, excellent handling, and the quality. Ya sure there are alot of "other" cars out there like lexus, and so...

Ultimately Driving this Machine...

Date of Review:  Feb 3, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you can afford it, after you try everything else, you will ultimately be driving this machine. It's that good.
Review: Introduction

So after 5 years, I'm back again to once again sing the praises of a BMW 3 series. This time it s been redesigned and re-engineered and not surprisingly, it's even better. I'm going to make this review a potpourri. There will...

BMW acceleration delay

Date of Review:  Nov 17, 2006
Review: This is one beautifully designed car. The handling around corners is superb, even in the wet. It also many other things to recommend it, but all of that is negated by one flaw the car has that needs to be fixed. It has a delay in acceleration before...

Nice car with the exception of engine failure.

Date of Review:  Jan 11, 2008
The Bottom Line: Don't know if I would buy another BMW. Definitely not a 2006 3 series.
Review: Bought my wife a 2006 325i a year and a half ago. She wanted something more luxurious than her Subaru 'golf cart' with 125K miles.

Within a few days of purchase a sensor in the fuel system failed causing a check engine warning light. This...

2006 BMW 330 car doesn?t work with the tires.

Date of Review:  Dec 3, 2005
The Bottom Line: Do not buy a 2006 BMW 3-Series until they have solved this problem.
Review: I've got more bad news about the run-flats on the 3-Series. In addition to the ride problems (which I can get over), they just don t last very long. We have a 2006 BMW 330 with the stock Bridgestone run-flats and in addition to all of the other...

The 330i is your own personal rollercoaster

Date of Review:  Dec 22, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you absolutely, positively demand the best driving experience in a sports sedan which does not have an "M" on the back, accept no substitutes.
Review: Introduction

I have owned Japanese cars, Acura Integras, to be specific, for about fifteen years, and had a Nissan prior to that. All the cars were fun to drive and extremely reliable. I had also driven a few BMW's in my time, and clearly...
