Good in theory, but not reality.

The Bottom Line: This carrier is easy to use, but I always felt uncomfortable wearing it and my son hated it.
I can't count how many wonderful write-ups I read on the Baby Bjorn front carriers. We chose the extra-large straps version because my husband and I are on the tall side. Everything else except the shoulder straps is the same as the original Baby Bjorn carrier.
Anyway, I never had an easy time with this carrier. The straps always dug into my shoulders and my chest (as a new mommy who was nursing, this was VERY painful). My son also wailed every time we put him in this. He flopped around from side to side, and I always felt like he could fall out if I leaned too far in any direction.
What I DID like about this carrier is that it was easy to get on and off, and it was fairly simple to get my son in and out of. Also, this was the perfect solution for places where strollers aren't allowed.
My son is now 2, and we use this carrier for our newborn daughter. It is great for the places that our double stroller can't fit, and we just want to bring out the umbrella stroller. I should note that my husband has an easier time with the Baby Bjorn than me - perhaps it is his lack of chest development, or maybe he is less of a wimp than me.
