While visiting some friends out of state last weekend I had the chance to take the Baby Jogger Q Series Triple Jogging Stroller for a spin. My good friend has twin year old boys and is expecting a third so naturally, this is perfect for her. The stroller was a gift from her mother for her birthday 2 weeks ago (really this is what she wanted).
While there for a visit we decided that we were going to take a walk for ice cream and since I had my 2 year old son with me, she suggested we take her stroller, so we did, and I got tha chance to push it all the way.
I was so amazed with baby jogger Q Series Jogging Stroller that I didn't even mind carrying the almost 50 pound stroller into the ice cream store.
The stroller is set up like any other jogging stroller is. There are 2 larger wheels on each side fo the stroller on the back and instead on 1 in the front in the middle, there are 2with about 2 inches between them.
Each of the 3 seats were seperate from each other that fully reclined and had individual canopies that were able to be angled in many different ways to provide various degrees of sunlingt to shine onto the children.
On the bottom of the stroller there was more than enough storages space as well as an individual compartment for storeage behind each of the three seats.
To set up was very easy as well as folding up. Push the lever to release and lift up once and the stroller was completely colsed down. Assembly took less than an hour I was told.
On the way back from ice cream we decided to go to the park which had a hiking trail. I was dunbfounded when my friend suggested that we go for a hike, but I agreed. This stroller to mu amazment works just as smoothly on the wooded, dirt and stoned trail as it does on the cement surface.
To make some turns I did have to slightly lift the front wheels, but other than that I fell in love with it.
The only problem that I had found was that since the stroller is made for 3 children, it was rather wide which made it take up the whole side walk. I would inagine that it would be hard to use the stroller in certain stores and places due to its size.
I was told that the stroller even fit into the trunk of my friends GEO Prizm, but took up all most all of the room.
I knew that the stroller was expensive and since it was a gift I did not ask how much it costs even though I know she knows.
