Delightfully understated - I'm so happy I switched to Bare Escentuals

The Bottom Line: This makeup looks natural, feels great, and is so easy to apply. I highly recommend it!
I was skeptical when I first tried this stuff. I'd been using liquid foundation and powder since I was fourtee, on and off, and always hated wearing makeup. It never looked right - my skin looked flaky or unnaturally evenly colored. I pretty much gave up on wearing makeup after trying lots of different drugstore brands.
I didn't even think of trying another sort of makeup until a friend dragged me into her bathroom before a night out and INSISTED I sit still while she showed me something. I closed my eyes while she ran the brush around my face, and a few seconds later, I opened my eyes. I was highly impressed.
This makeup is very subtle, and very natural-looking, which I greatly appreciate. It's easy to apply, and goes on really quickly. It doesn't take much effort or skill, which is great for a non-girly-girl like me!
But man, does it ever even out my skin tone nicely. I have very fair skin and often have red spots. This didn't get rid of the red spots, but evened them into my skin tone and made them barely noticable. My skin still looks like my skin - but like a better version!
My kit has already lasted for a few months, and I bet it'll last for another few. When you think about cost-per-application, I'm willing to bet Bare Escentuals is actually comparable to drugstore makeup.
