As an avid fisherman. I always wanted to own a fishing game which would simply allow me to turn on my system and fish. Sure there have been other fishing games for other consoles (the Black Bass series) and believe me, they were great games, but, there was only one mode of play which was the tournament mode. No fishing game before simply allowed you to just go and fish.
This is where Bass Fishing comes in. What attracts me the most about this game its is simplicity. You just pick up a lure, a lake, and just go at it. The game is very consumer friendly and anyone could simply pick it up , play it, and land a bass very quickly. This game is simply fun, easy to play, and entertaining.
If you're looking for a fishing simulator, seek elsewhere, there are plenty of good fishing games out there. However, if you're looking for a quick, fun, and simple fishing game (even if you don't like fishing), then this is the game for you.
