Wow, Battlestar grows up-!

Well, many of us didn't expect much from the new Battlestar Galactica. This is because we don't expect a lot from the sci-fi channel.

We were wrong, The new Battlestar Galactica blows away the original series by a mile! And, I'm a guy who had the original toys and such.

What an original spin on the show They wove other original characters and show background in extremely well.

The effects are very well done. The character lines have more depth, the show is grittier. And what else could you ask for? They do not always show the same scenes of vipers launching or Cylons attacks like the orginal.

This is not a kid's movie. There are many adult themes and a little beyond-the-raygun violence.

I recommend anyone who is a fan watch this. They have not just done respect to the old show, they have bested it.
