Beat the House is awesome. It is very realistic, entertaining, educational and fun. I love the set up; Here you are in the casino, where do you go, what do you play first? Sit at a slot machine? Play some Craps? You can choose the table limit, and order a drink from the cocktail waitress when she stops by and you can start playing anytime. You don't like that table? You don't think you are fulfilling your gambling quota at the $5.00 limit Blackjack table? Move on to the $1000.00 limit Craps table or play some Roulette.
There are rows of slots; bar slots, sports slots, video poker slots, $1.00 slots and more. Running out of money? Wander over to the front desk and GET SOME MORE! Of course you are expected to pay back your loans, but play away and have fun!
I love playing Blackjack with the virtual people. Some of them play real well while others will have you cussing them for their stupidity. You can always leave the table and go to another...Or not?
Beat the House has other pros; You learn while you play! If you don't know how to play Texas Hold'em (or any other table game,) but your brother-in-law is constantly hounding you to come over on Saturday night for a game, get the Beat the House CD and learn! You'll be better than the B-I-L in no time and you can go over on Saturday night and let him pay for your new hot tub!
