Must Have!

This is a must have radar detector. I have tested it against the Escort Passport 8500 and it outperforms it in the Laser, Ka, and K band detection. It also get less false alarms than the Passport 8500. It also has a unique feature unlike any other detector, although both the Passport 8500 detect and Beltronics Pro RX65 detect POP radar, the Beltronics Pro RX65 will specificly display "POP" while the Passport 8500 will display K, or Ka on it's read out. Pop is the most deadly type or radar because it is not continually on, the just shoot and point at you, so with the Passport 8500 you will get intermediate hits of K and Ka bands and you might think it's garbage you are picking up, but the Beltronics Pro RX65 will definetly tell you if it's POP. I also found that the Beltronics Pro RX65 picks up laser 340 feet sooner which gives it an advantage, also it picks up K and Ka 0.3 miles sooner. Another aspect is the voice and tone alerts. You can also turn off certain bands on it like the passport 8500 but the Beltronics Pro RX65 has the additional capability of picking up KU band, which is used in europe and is currently being tested by some state police in the US.
