Pros: Lightweight; Easy to push
Cons: Not really steam
The Bottom Line: Does a nice job for the price. The biggest drawback is that it is hard to clean inside the tanks.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: This carpet cleaner isn't anything special; it spits water down on the carpet and then sucks it back up. There is not much more to it except for the brushes at the bottom that drag when it is pushed. The cleaning solution that goes into the tank is...

Pros: It was easy to use and it cleaned my carpets!
Cons: I wish I was rich enough to have a maid!
The Bottom Line: If you need to occasionally steam clean your carpets, this is easier than renting a steam cleaner, and it does the trick.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Carpets! They make our homes look beautiful.... as long as we can keep them clean. If you are single with no pets and travel by sterilized bubble to work every day, and don't eat at home, your carpets are easy to clean.
However, if you,... |

Pros: light weight, inexpensive, cleans well, carpets are dry in 4hrs.
Cons: dirty water tank needs to be emptied before clean water tank is empty.
The Bottom Line: You Can't go wrong with the Bissell Quicksteamer 1770. It's easy to fill, cleans well, carpets are dry in a few hours, and clean up is a snap.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I was looking for a carpet cleaner because my son moved out and his room had been abused for years. God only knows what was in his carpet. I thought about hiring someone to do the job but I would rather know what I am putting into the carpet. What...

Pros: Cheap, lightweight. Hard floor squeegee available. Durable and easy to repair.
Cons: No heat, small fluid reservoirs, no motorized brush.
The Bottom Line: The Bissell Quicksteamer is neither a steamer nor quick, but it's good to have on hand for spill cleanup, and delivers respectable performance given its price.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: "Cheapdribbler" would be a more accurate name for this vacuum, but "Quicksteamer" sells.
I recently had mine apart to clear a clog, and discovered that there is neither a pump nor a heating element for the clean shampoo solution. The... |

Pros: Inexpensive, lightweight, easy to use, easy to move, easy to store
Cons: Not really steam, small water capacity, mixed solution, no agitating brush
The Bottom Line: For smaller jobs its a great cleaner. For a larger job I will get the Eureka Atlantis (2 gal capacity, seperate solution tank). I will keep this one around.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I recently borrowed a friends carpet cleaner, a Eureka Atlantis 2595A. I tried using it, and apparently they abused it and the water pump and agitator brush motors were bad, so to review other cleaners I went.
I found excellent reviews on... |

Pros: Good value for initial cleaning power
Cons: didn't last long. A pain to clean thoroughly.
The Bottom Line: Spring for the more durable model.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I have two cats and a family very prone to spilling food, drinks, etc. so I definitely had to get a wet vac. At first it was a wonderful alternative to scrubbing and blotting out carpet stains and got out most any simple stains that I could throw at...

Pros: Easy to put together, easy to use and works great!
Cons: Water sometimes spills out the side as you dump out the dirty water tank.
The Bottom Line: This is an excellent machine that is easy to use and brightens the carpet as good as any of the more expensive machines for a quarter of the price!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Before I purchased this cleaner I had a lot of dirt stains all over my carpet particularly near my doors and in our main living room. I planned on purchasing a larger machine that was on sale but the store had ran out. Since I was determined to come...

Pros: lightweight, good for small messes, or maintaining clean carpet
Cons: small tanks, not for heavy cleaning, hard to clean dirty water tank
The Bottom Line: Good for small messes. Difficult to use for large areas.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I bought this for about seventy dollars at Walmart two or three years ago. I got it to clean my carpets, thinking it was a steam cleaner or a carpet shampooer. It works good for cleaning up spills, or for getting the carpet semi clean, but don't...

Review: I bought this cleaner over 2 years ago, and it still works. I trust the Bissell name; I haven't had any problems yet.
