Handy for small quick clean ups.

I bought this deep cleaning machine to clean up a berry juice spill. It did so well at getting this stain out of the carpet, I continued to clean the entire room (40x30). I had to refill the machine at least 3 times and the cleaning solution more than that. It will clean close to a 15x15 area for each tank fill. I was very impressed this carpet is about 13 years old and looks like it was just installed. I have had several compliments on how well this carpet looks. I think that the heat made all the difference. I have used carpet cleaners before and the carpets are usually left stiff and lay in the direction of the brush strokes. These fibers look better now than they did before I cleaned. (This is a low pile high traffic plush type carpet.)

The down side to this machine is that the "bladder" tank system seems very flimsy, the dirt water empties to the outside of the "bladder". I rinse every time I use it very thoroughly because I don't want anything growing in the tank because allergies abound in this house. It is not easy to clean that part. Also I wonder how long the "bladder" will last because it seems so thin.

The up side to this machine is that clean ups are super quick. Keep the cleaner solution part ready, keep machine in rinse mode (One review said that the solution will leak back in the tank if you do not, I have not noticed this malfunction), when needed, fill tank with hot tap water and you are using it that fast.

The other up side is that you can leave the cleaning solution in the machine because you are not mixing it in the water tank. More often than not the tank with solution has to be dumped and you wasted your money on the unused solution.
