Light duty processor -- not for gourmands
Pros:
Affordable and durable.
Cons:
Ugly. Hard to clean. Expensive for what it is.
The Bottom Line:
If you can afford a mixer, skip the processor. Get a mixer that performs all of the functions of a processor and more.

Author's Review
This processor has been in my kitchen for several years and I have always used it lightly, mostly to make gazpacho and to process other soft vegetables, like tomato, avocado, or soft fruit with no rind. As a chopper, it works OK only with onion, herbs, less well with potatoes. It is excellent for pesto and to process cooked soups sauces that must reach the requisite level of creaminess. Had I had a larger budget when I purchased it, I would have opted for a full size medium to heavy duty mixer, with dough hooks and other tools. This processor is quite useless as a mixer or for such uses as kneading pastry or pasta dough. Mine started to smoke after a few minutes of mixing some pastry dough. The round slicer blade fits too loosely to perform adequately as a Parmesan greater or to make breadcrumbs. Everything will spill and waste will be inevitable. The product is perhaps meant mostly to process soft or already processed foods and should be avoided by people like myself, who like eating fresh food and never purchase any previously processed foods or cooked meals. In other words, this product is for the average user who cooks little or rarely. Here I list the most annoying features: The lid fits loosely and content tends to spill even when the not very capacious bowl is filled well below the limit. The main chopper blade is practically impossible to clean unless one owns a new dishwasher with a sanitizing program. The thing is quite ugly, oddly shaped, and occupies far too much of space in the cabinet. The engine unit in time accumulates food debris in all its nooks and seams, which are inexplicably numerous. A smoother design, with fewer seams in the main plastic body, would have prevented this hygienically hazardous feature. The transparent plastic of the bowl is very easily scratched and the lid is hard to wash and even harder to towel dry. People who do not own a dishwasher should avoid this product, as should restaurants and other food processing businesses. Lastly, I have found it impossible to purchase replacement blades and additional tools. If any one knows how to get parts, please let me know. I want to use this thing till it falls apart.
