Review: Great expectation. Well if you want to know if this book is good or not, i say it's pretty good. Even though people might say the words are bad, it gets boring at some times. It really doesn't have plots like that. For the readers who are just...

Pros: Wonderful Dickens wit and prose with a powerful finish
Cons: starts off a little slow
The Bottom Line: This book is excellent. It starts off a little slow but it is just Dickens building a plot and story that will make you a better person for reading it.

Review: I once attempted to read this book several years ago in middle school. It lacked the stimulus that my young mind needed to maintain focus long enough to get in to it, hence, it was shelved and other books such as "The Hardy Boys" and "Storm...

Review: Ok ok ok, for some ungodly reason most High Schools in this country feel it necessary to slap this book into their curriculum. AHHHHH! I can honestly say this was one of the worst books I have ever read.

Review: It's so amazing how Dickens is able to establish his atmosphere and fill his world with characters just crazy enough to be credible. So much of fiction is filled with cardboard, indistinguishable characterizations, figures whose dialogue cannot be...

Pros: Incredible development of the characters of Estella and Pip
