Very Well Written, I recommend it.

I believe this book was very well written on the bases it was on. Mainly it is a book about a runaway boy that learns new things, by running to a faraway place where there is conflict between the blacks and whites. I recommend that you read this book. It is a book written for both children and adults. It also sparks imagination. It also explains to children that there is no difference between blacks and whites, it tells them that they are both equal. I have read this book twice, I think. And I have to say that it WAS one of the best books I have ever read, the only bad thing is that a young ones imagination may be a little too sparked and they might want to run away and be like Maniac Magee. But its alright the best places to find tem are a park or in the big tree in the backyard.
