good book and good movie

this storie is touching to an extent
in general the plot is not all that great but it is catching
espicaly to children. this book as it happens is about mice and rats that were test subjects of steroids from nimh (nationa institute mental health)
this mice and rats quickly developed into very inteliget creatures that excaped from nimh then are found living near a farm after a long travel( thay had to travel to avoud the other mice and rats of the rest of the would becouse thay were freeks that were so inteligent and strong)and nimh fond them and was trying to exterminate them. all the wile the rats had developed into a small civilivation. johnathan that had been a primary character in the excaping of the mice and rats, had died trying to help sudate a cat (ironicaly still a feared prediter of these smart beings) and his wife (ms. brisby) had to move there family due to surcum stances and was unabel to do so becouse of an illness that one of her children had obtained,she had to move the hole house not just her family in short, and in the proses there was an accident and somone died(i cant say who it would spoil it)and everyone ends up hapinly ever after that is the one that live thru the whole ordeal
the movie is a slight bit diffrent but the book is much more detaled and gives greater light on the plot and is better in general
