Pros: Highly intellectual beneath an excellent story. Full of characters you care about. Cons: Not for those intimidated by long books. The Bottom Line: A masterpiece that should be read by everyone. A very interesting commentary on capitalism and life. |

I picked up the book and I couldn't put it down, even though I am not a big reader. A friend read it and recommended it to me and I am very glad he did because it provoked so much thought. The book is makes excellent conversation material with others who have read it, as the story is quite entertaining and unpredictable, and the deeper meaning of the book is profound. Should be taught in schools, but it isn't so it is up to you as an individual to pick up The Fountainhead and experience it first-hand.
