We have now owned our BOSCH Refrigerator for almost 1 1/2 years. We have had no problems with it to this point. Any consumer should be aware that this is a counter depth refrigerator and it's going to be smaller than what most consumers think. I agree with other reviewers on interior space. It is small, on BOTH sides. You have to know that going in. We thought it would be bigger until we actually started to use it on a daily basis. It is, after all, counter depth. We also have a refrigerator in the garage and that saves us. We are a family of three adults. This refrigerator was bought, in part, for appearance and significant discounting/rebating on a total BOSCH kitchen package (4 appliances).
Operation: ZERO problems so far. COOL/FREEZE, perfect. Water dispensing, perfect. And in our case, NO residual dripping or significant splashing. CUBES, 95% hit their target. I agree with others, 5% don't hit their mark as dispensed and will hit the floor no matter how careful you are. We have not yet run out of ice cubes during average use.
Appearance/Style: 100%. Constant compliments on its appearance. Very Sleek. Very European. We have had no problems with scratches so far. We clean the exterior with Stainless Steel cleaner and it always looks brand new. We have no young children in our household.
Interior: You must be very well organizing at filling the shelves. Not the easiest to navigate this counter depth refrigerator.
Warranty and Price: We have an extended warranty from our retailer for 5 years and it was very reasonably priced. Interestingly however, this retailer's service department completes all Warranty work on ALL appliances EXCEPT BOSCH. BOSCH brings in their own repair staff. However, if BOSCH cannot get to the consumers home within 5 days, OUR LOCAL RETAILER has an agreement that they can come in and do necessary repairs. Retailer must be trying to protect his reputation. We bought a complete BOSCH kitchen set up(Fridge, Dishwasher, Micro, & Stove) and we ended up paying $1,800.00 for this refrigerator. We have not had to change out the water filter to this point. No warranty work has been conducted to date, therefore unable to comment.
All in all, we are still pleased with our choice.
