Great bang for the buck

I ordered my bose system and a DLP televsion at the same time....but the bose arrived at my house a few days earlier so I had a chance to really scrutinize the sound before my big screen arrived. It took only 3 business days for the 3-2-1 system to arrive so that was a pleasant surprise. My system is in my walkout basement and has to fill up a pretty large room with sound....I would estimate maybe 500 square feet. I decided to mount the two front speakers on the optional pedestals bose offers....and setting those up took up the most time....I would say the entire setup took about 1 hour.

Bose includes a demonstration disk and that was the first one I popped in. I sat on my sofa about 10 feet away and listed for about 10 minutes......the sound quality is superb.....the surround sound effect is very good.....I would say about 85% of what you would get in a five speaker system. What was also impressive is that I could walk around the entire room and the depth and clarity of sound was pretty consistent....even in the corner about 25 feet away. I believe only serious audiophiles would be disappointed in the 3-2-1.
