The Bottom Line: Bose quality in construction and sound reproduction. Have additional speakers in mind if you want home theater though.

Review: I've owned my AM5's for over 10 years and they still kick. From low to ear-bleeding volume they still sound great; and, are easily hidden. Hide the mid-woofer, mount the drivers on the wall, and enjoy an uncluttered house with awesome sound.
