Bose AM5 looks unkonvencional and sounds too unkonvencional....
Generaly AM5 is very good speakers for money you pay (new one) just must find amp. or receiver for this speakers. This can be expensive way to get good sound but if you like it... In my case I try several amps and receivers and all fall on the bass test (Accuphase, Yamaha, Cambridge Audio, Rotel...) Unexpectable, with Harman Kardon Receiver HK 3470 sound is like I pay for all system 2000-3000 USD.... Treble is clear and silky, bass is smooth and deep...
