Review: Bose Lifetstyle 28 DVD Home Theater System
This theater system is actually quite a bit less than the Lifestyle 35 that we were originally wanting. It was $3,000 where the Lifestyle 28 only cost us $2400. Six hundred... |

Pros: Small, easy to operate
Cons: Cost vs. Performance, generally bland sound
The Bottom Line: With $3000 burning a hole in your pocket, say goodbye to Bose. Grow up, and look into some real speakers.

Review: First off, I should state that I work at a major electronics retail store in the home theater department. Every single day, I try my best to put on a happy face as I show customers the multi-thousand dollar Bose packages available. As far as sales...

Pros: Fantastic Sound, Does Everything Well
Cons: Funky Wiring Layout, Pricey
The Bottom Line: Very pricey, very high quality sound. Costs as much as a used Mercedes, so expect it to last as long as one. It probably will.

Review: About Bose
Before I type another word, let me simply say that in 21 years of owning Bose products, I?ve never had the slightest bit of dissatisfaction with them. As an example, in 1980, I purchased a pair of Bose 901 speakers from the PX while... |

Pros: Very good sound, compact, easy to use
Cons: plays vcd's but not svcd's if your into that. EXPENSIVE!
The Bottom Line: Not a bad product, but not the best price
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I just purchased the system while bose was offering the free wave radio and interest free financing for a year and feel as though I was lured into purchasing it more for that reason. Don't get me wrong, it sounds awesome and the clarity of the sound...

Pros: Good sound, not excellent, very unobtrusive design, satellite speakers look as tight as a tiger.
Cons: Bass is sketchy, big money for lower-midrange system, subwoofer the size of a whale's mammary.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it for people living in a smallish living area where space is a premium and you have a built-in sub mount with an acoustic design.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: It's a wonderful sounding system. If you life in an 8x5 box, with baffling in your ceiling and are sitting directly on top of the subwoofer. The sound would be interactive then as you would get a tingly feeling in your bag whenever that massive star...

Pros: Ease of set up; unobtrusive speakers; easy remote use; great sound
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: You can shop around for other brands but as a long term Bose user I think it's a deal.

Review: This is written by a dinosaur who made the $1999 purchase in June 2007. The store then had a $200 discounted price (rare for Bose products) three weeks later but they honored the 30 day price guarantee and returned the difference to me. So, my cost...

Pros: Small, smooth sound, All-in-One
Cons: Price, placement of sub
The Bottom Line: It's worth the money for the size, quality sound, integrated features.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: System is easy to setup and configure. Speakers are small so they won't
become another piece of furniture to arrange. For an all-in-one unit Bose is a little pricey, but deals can be had on ebay, watch out for fraud, never send... |

Pros: ADAPTiQ Audio Calibration System, amazingly great sound
Cons: I can really hear how well or poorly CDs & DVDs have been recorded
The Bottom Line: It fits into my room nicely, looks great, is easy for my family to use, and sounds amazing. Check it out before you buy anything else.
