Author's Review
I, too, loved my darling Breadman and pre-programmed it to have the bread ready first thing in the morning-- what a great way to wake up. I used the machine regularly for about a year, then we moved and it sat on the shelf for a while. Now we've moved again and the first time I took it out to make cinnamon rolls on a Sunday morning the damn pan jumped out, and then again and again and again. My fix-it husband fiddled around with it, bending the clips, even inserting a screwdriver under the metal wall facing and pushing it inward to create a better latch on the pan, but to no avail. I am giving up. Having read the reviews now (not before buying the machine!--arrg), I see that this is a common and fatal problem. I will not buy this machine again, though the bread was great while it lasted. I am going with my cherished co-reviewers and getting a Panasonic. Alas, I contribute to global warming, adding a shoddy, made-to-break piece of junk to the landfill. Sigh.
