expensive carseat worth it?

I did not originally want this expensive car seat. I asked for a cheaper model and got this one instead because the giver thought it was better. I am not someone who thinks that expensive is better. I have five car seats total and this is the most expensive model. My kids do not really seem to notice the difference between the car seats, no one asks for a specific one. There are definitely differences between the seats for me though. One good thing about this seat is that it is easier to install in cars without LATCH. It has some sort of belt squishing device that keeps the car belt in place better. One possible bad thing about it is that if you do have LATCH the attachments are really wide. This does not make a difference in my car but it does in other cars I have put it into where the LATCH connections are deeper in the crack. It takes longer to stuff the wide connector into the LATCH. Adjusting the car seat belts to higher spots is easier in one of my other seats, but I do not adjust them very often so it does not matter that much. The seat cover is removable easier on this seat than on other seats, but unless you have a car sick kid it should not make that much of a difference. Overall this is a great car seat, but so are some other car seats that are not as expensive. If someone is buying it for you and/or money is not an issue, then go for the Britax. If money is tight and/or you are buying it yourself, other car seats are just as nice.
