Brother P-touch® PT-80 Label Printer

Our company bought this model since previous Brother P-Touch models were discontinued. The whole unit just feels cheap from the start. It's a drag to have to shift modes to be able to type numbers. This can be very annoying when there are a string of caps, lowercase and numbers to write out. Also, there are only two font sizes available on this model. The most annoying thing though, is that the unit flashes a low-battery warning after just about each printing, even right out of the box with fresh batteries loaded. Our unit gets passed around in the office quite a bit and for the people who aren't aware of this "bug" it can make for confusion and/or wasted batteries as people change the batteries thinking that indeed they have run low. Brother has really blown it with this model release. Pay more, get a higher model or some other brand folks.
