Total waste of money

Date of Review: Jun 24, 2007

I purchased these binoculars 8x30 with built in digital camera (3.1 mp) Cost was $178.99

This is a great idea to have a built in camera, but what a total waste of money I paid for these binoculars/camera.

Pictures are distorted if you make the SLIGHTEST movement. Sometimes you can't tell whether you have shot a picture or not.

The eye pieces were not good for me. All I could see was dark spots, and had to keep readjusting the lenses. I was not at all comfortable looking through these.

I finally gave up on them, and have given them away to a child who doesn't know better, and as a starter pair of binoculars.

From reading all of the reviews here, I have decided to buy the Nikon 8x42 Monarch waterproof & fogproof roof prism binocular which had 5 star ratings. I'll be using these for birding, and I can't wait to receive them and write my review.

Pros
Nice size, nice weight and nice case
Cons
Terrible pictures, eye piece sighting is terrible. Not worth the money at all.
