"The" Camping Magazine: Camping Life

The first time I thumbed through the pages of Camping Life was just a few months ago in a Barnes & Noble bookstore not far from my home in Bend, Oregon. There is just so much more to read about than just camping. Exciting departments in the mag include short pieces on everything from wildlife to astronomy to campfire stories. Besides the incredible reviews on the latest camping accessories from backpack stoves to SUV's, the features to destinations are not the run-of-the-mill dry guidebook type of stories either. They are true first person accounts of the place being described including where to go, when to go and what to expect. I've never seen another magazine like it with so much detail and the color photographs used to illustrate the locations are by top freelance photographers , pros and amateurs alike. Check it out for your next summer trip.
