Pros: small compact 1 to 1 macro lens

Cons: have to be really close to get good macro due to small focal length

The Bottom Line: a great small compact 1 to 1 ratio lens makes small things appear huge.

This is one sharp tight little macro lens. This lens brings small tiny things up to life size 1 to 1 ratio.
its small compactness is nice to cary around with you in the field.

Several things I would recommend you get if you buy this lens are ......

a right angle viewfinder for macro work so you dont have to get down on the ground

a macro rail focusing system for tripod. If yuove never used a macro lens then you dont understand how important this thing is buy one now.

a remote shutter release so you dont have as many blurry pictures

overall this is a great little lens my only problem is i wish it was a longer focal length allowing me to stay further away from the little bugs and other things i photography so I dont scare them away by getting so close to them.
