Pros: A lot of machine for the money. Good quality results!
Cons: Big and a tad noisy. No USB cable included.
The Bottom Line: A nice, complete multifunction machine at a reasonable price. A bit bulky and noisy - but it does it all!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Recently, the HP T45 Multifunction machine that I had relied on for many (7) years, began to make the death rattles and errors associated with imminent demise. Also, since it hasn t been made for many years, the ink cartridges were becoming a bit of...

Pros: Excellent performance. Attractive design. Not too big/heavy. Sturdy construction.
Cons: Not networkable. Only holds 200 pieces of paper.
The Bottom Line: Very good unit and a great value.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Purchased this unit to replace a Brother 4750 fax/copier/printer and an HP Deskjet 895CSE. Spent a lot of time looking at reviews and found that even equipment that was highly rated by professional reviewers often had negative reviews from...

Pros: Ease of use, affordable cartridges, several special copying functions.
Cons: I haven't found any yet!
The Bottom Line: Run out and buy 2. Someday they'll stop making them and you'll want to have a back up for years later when you wear the first one out!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: This has been the best printer we've ever owned! I REALLY like it.
The duplex printing is very handy, saves on paper. You can also make your own books with the booklet option. Prints quickly, scans quickly, etc. especially for an all-in-one... |

Pros: Quality of printed photos.
Cons: Scans the inside of the scanner lid, astronomical ink usage.
The Bottom Line: No one can afford to keep this printer fed. I want to give it away for free, but I can't because I would feel too guilty.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I bought this device to replace a Brother HL-1040, for two reasons: I was buying a home and I knew I would be doing a lot of scanning and faxing, and I wanted to be able to do occasional colour printing of photos and other documents such as maps...

Pros: Duplex capable, dual paper trays, inexpensive to buy and run, good print quality
Cons: No network capabilities
The Bottom Line: Almost perfect printer for the home office or student. All I could ask for would be network capabilities, which can be remedied.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: After my Epson CX5400 decided to die on me from a manufacturing defect that they won't own up to (google "Epson CX5400 prints blank pages"), I began my search for a new printer. After much debate, I decided to stay with an inkjet printer for...

Pros: Great specs
Cons: Ink cartridges have bad chipsets, causing ALL functions of the unit to fail.
The Bottom Line: Unless Canon re-engineers the chipset on the ink cartridges so that they are reliable, avoid this AIO. If the cart problem were fixed, it would be a great little unit.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: This AIO has a lot of nice features, particularly duplex printing. Unfortunately, I have had nothing but problems with the ink carts. Less than a month after purchase, an error message said the cyan cart was bad. And sometimes it said I had two cyan...

Pros: Seemed good until terrible design flaw revealed
Cons: Small problem with color ink makes unit useless for scan, fax, black&white printing
The Bottom Line: Not recommended: a small color ink problem makes the machine useless for scanning, faxing, black&white printing
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I was happy with my machine until a small problem revealed a catastrophic design flaw. Had I known, I would never have bought it. Please consider this before buying! Canon should be embarrassed about putting out a product with this flaw.

Pros: All features but ink usage.
Cons: Ink usage, a big negative! Costs a ton!
The Bottom Line: Do not buy unless you have a lot to spend during normal no color usage.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: This is a good printer, especially the duplex printing function. That function is great, save paper, can do lots of good stuff with it.
However! Ink usage destroys all the good. Why? Have no idea why the engineers decided to do it this way... |

Pros: Great performance for all functions. Fairly quiet. Excellent value and price. Easy to use.
Cons: None, really none for me.
The Bottom Line: I'd buy it again. It's the best all-around I could find under $500
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've had my Canon Pixma MP530 for a month and love it! I was ready to give up on finding an all-in-one printer under $500 with great performance in all categories. It's awesome for photos too! Each had it's Achilles Heel(s), but the Pixma MP530 had...
