A nice watch for the price

I purchased this while on vacation when my beloved Seiko flooded (after being overhauled by an official Seiko repair facility!).

This watch's combination of digital and analog readouts makes it accurate and easy to read, and the world-time feature for the digital display is very nice when traveling or doing business with folks in other timezones.

It is also quite nice-looking, rather posh despite its low price and plastic underpinnings.

It is "water-resistant" to 100m, meaning it's great for snorkeling, shallow free-diving and swimming, but not scuba. Get a real diver's watch for that.

The various modes are easy to use, and the four mode-selection buttons are labeled on the back-- a nice touch!

My only gripe is that the alarms (there are four) are hard for my ears to hear-- they're a high-pitched peep; for my ears, they are easy to overlook.

I purchased the black-band model rather than the stainless-steel-band model (which was actually $2 less) because neither I nor anyone at the store could figure out how to remove some links in the stainless-steel band to make it fit my wrist.
