Overall- not very pleased

I bought this product as an upgrade from my 3.1 MP Canon. I chose this camera for the features such as large LCD, 10.1 MP, rechargeable battery, and video features. However, after using it, I was disappointed with the picture quality. I expected the 10.1 MP to have crystal clear images, but I found they were very grainy. Even at the highest setting, the pictures were not very clear. The AF on the preset Auto "Best Shot" only chooses the center of the image. You need to choose Portrait to allow for different AF zones, but you have to do this by clicking through a menu. With kids, I need to be able to capture moments quickly without navigating through menus. The software that comes with the camera is CHEAP! It has very limited picture editing capabilities. I eventually returned the camera and I'm shopping for another replacement.
