Product Review

Issues already at 17K miles

by   ktronis ,   Jan 16, 2009

Pros:  Ride is smooth and quiet.  6-cyl has good pep.

Cons:  Leaking drivers side window.  Gear box had to be replaced.  Drivers seat uncomfortable.

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars

Author's Review

This is a leased vehicle, provided to my spouse as a company car.  We are both allowed to drive it, so I have plenty of experience with it.  The biggest issue is that it is already developing problems at just over 17,000 miles.

The drivers window developed a leak (not good when it rains!) and we recently had to have the entire gear box/assembly replaced.  This should not be happening on a vehicle with just over 17,000 miles on it.  Also, the drivers seat isn't all that comfortable, no matter how much you play with the adjustments.

I would think you could do better in this class of car than an Impala.
