Oldies but Goodies

Author's Review

I currently own 3 different Camaros, and they're all the oldies. First, a 1968 RS Convertible, a 1969 RS/SS hardtop, and a 1981 Z28 Camaro. Each I built from the ground up. It took quite a bit of time since Chevy has since stopped making most of the parts. And now they're looking to stop all Camaros period, stating low sales as the downright solution to the answer. In fact, I see more camaros on the road everyday, new and old, but I atleast now I can hold on to these oldies forever.

However, I'm very sorry to see them go. They've had quite a past in my eyes. I believe I read a report in a magazine a few months ago that took the Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang, and the Pontiac Firebird and did road tests on them. They were all brand new cars as well. Coming in last place was Pontiac Firebird, lacking in power and horsepower. In second came the Ford Mustang (well, because they suck :), and first was the Camaro. With stats like this, why are we saying goodbye to it? I say we let the Mustang go and keep the good cars around.
