Best Car I ever owned

I bought this car 4 years ago in a pinch.
My other car needed too much work and I could either pour more money down a bottomless pit or buy another car.
My mother knew of a woman who was selling her 1988 Chevy Celebrity and arranged a test drive.
At first glance the car wasn't my type, it was a silver four door and looked like something my mom might drive but I thought what the heck a test drive couldn't hurt.
I started the car up and began down the road.
this car was surprisingly comfortable and quiet it felt like I was driving a much bigger car but when I punched it everything changed.
The car suddenly became a jaguar leaping out of its cage I was literally thrown back in the seat as the car lunged forward.
I never expected the 2.8 liter, front wheel drive powerplant to act like this.
I returned from the test drive ecstatic and bought the car six days later.
It now has the rally wheels a K&N high flow air filter and Dynomax muffler and sports a black band below the body molding. If some unfortunate mishap claims my Celebrity where she can't be repaired I will definitely be looking for another one.
If I had to sum it up in one sentence. The Celebrity is a low cost, low maintenance car that rides like a Cadillac but moves like a Camaro.
In the four years I've owned it, regular maintenance aside, I've only had to replace a 27 dollar sensor and an ignition module which didn't go bad til this March.
