it's been good to me

what can i say. this truck has been a great one. appearance wise it can still be mistaken for new by females and other members of the auto-impared after a good cleaning up. original paint still looks good, just a small rust spot starting to appear over the front driver side wheel well. the 4.3 V-6 has been a very strong and dependable engine. other than a distributer cap at about 40,000 miles and a hose or two everything is original. the original muffler even lasted 98,000 miles before i had to have it replaced. i've towed a 2500 lb boat before which it handled very well. the truck feels torquey and responsive when you put your foot in it. it's not going to put your eyes in the back of your head but it won't yield easily to those overrated mustangs from stoplight to stoplight either.
