It didn't fair too well with the cold weather - the passenger side door froze, and wouldn't shut at all, so we had to tie the door to the emergency brake; then the brakes went on it, then the muffler, and to top it off we got a crack in the windshield. We shipped the thing to Hawaii and got everything repaired on it, to the tune of $1500; then the clutch died...another $800. About 6 months later it died on the highway, that repair was cheap (we knew a mechanic who helped us). Then it died again on the highway - the timing belt broke, and the mechanics didn't know if the belt had damaged the engine when it broke, so we traded that poor, broken-down car in for a newer model.

Overall, it served it's purpose well, but just in a warm climate. It was totally useless and not very cost-effective to have and drive in a cold climate - it would have been much better to store the thing in storage until the spring thaw!
