Chevrolet gets it right.

My wife owns a Monte Carlo SS. It is torch red with every option available in that model year. The car is in exceptional condition and manages to turn heads wherever we go. In short, it is a beautiful car. The ride and drivability are as good as if not superior to anything in it's class. The fact is, I drive cars of literally every make and model as part of my profession and have to say that this car handles with the best of them either import or domestic. The competition suspension makes it corner like its on rails and manages to make the road as smooth as silk. So much value in the maintainance schedule alone. One hundred thousand mile tune-ups and transmission services and 150,000 mile or 5 year coolant flushes are an example. No mid grade or premium fuels are required. The engine is designed to run on regular unleaded. We have had zero problems with this car. The 3.8 litre V-6 has the capability to launch the car with ease and the torque comes to the party early and stays late! I guess you can say that we love the SS! It seems that the general public's perception is that import cars are superior to the domestics. It is apparent to me that those with that mind set have not driven a Monte Carlo SS!
