Author's Review
Let me guess, you are shopping for a SUV like my father was? And you are looking at the Tahoe among others including its sister the Yukon Denali - am I correct?
Well here are the pluses:
The Tahoe is not a wimpy, looking, SUV like the Lexus RX 320 or the Mercedes M Class. The Tahoe offers the same luxury, and in my opinion the same quality of leather as the two aforementioned "SUVs."
This SUV talks to you, for instance, it won't let you leave the parking break on, and I guess NorthStar also talks to you.
The Ride and Handing are superb. The steering is a bit tight, but you get used to it by the time you pull out of the parking lot. The 4x4 actually does work, though I haven't tested it off road yet, that is an argument i have yet to win.
It gives you the same cargo room, for the most part of the competitors, but is shorter than the suburbans, expeditions, and excursions.
The only Con that I have is in the winter and when it rains, the foot step gets very slippery.
The Tahoe is literally Like A Rock.
