I read all the reviews for the previous years of this van before deciding if I should buy one. After taking several for test drives, we were impressed with the features and space. As far as some reviewers complaints of a rough ride goes, we thought that they drove and handled VERY nicely for a vehicle with a real truck chassis. We ended up buying a new LT with All Wheel Drive, rear heat and a/c and 8 passenger leather seats. In short, the Cadillac of mini-vans. It can go through mud and snow without any real trouble, stop quick, and still tow 2 1/2 tons or haul 1500 lbs. MPG has been about 16 in the winter around town (rated @ 14) and 18 in the summer.Highway is about 20. But you do have to remember we have a towing package and a taller geared limited slip differential.By the way, we bought our Astro new in March of '04 and have not had any problems with it whatsoever !
