Long Live the Lead Sled

The HHR is one of those cars that is sure to evoke an opinion. You either love the style or hate it, but everyone is sure to look. Personally I love it. I think this car looks great from every angle. Too many cars today lack personality, the HHR exudes it! Every time I look at my 2006 LT2 HHR, it brings a smile to my face. The car is not only great looking, it is comfortable to drive, handles great, gets good gas mileage (25-27 mpg mixed city/highway, 35 mpg w/cruise set at 55mph), is peppy enough for my needs with the optional 172 hp engine, is extremely functional (fold down seats give you as much room as many SUV's) and is surprisingly quiet on the road. Cruising Florida's highways at 70 mph, the HHR is quieter than my 2005 Acura TSX!

With great style come great sounds. The optional Pioneer sound system with XM, 6-disc CD and iPOD input is outstanding.

My only complaint is the interior is a little cheap (hard plastics) and the car lacks front passenger storage areas. "Leather power seats" only provide leather on the seating area and power to the driver seat (and the power doesn't operate the seat back! What's up with that?).

Overall, I love the HHR and highly recommend it. Take one for a spin, put some good tunes on the radio and you will feel 16 again. I promise!
